Studio Rocco was founded in 1929, when Dr Rinaldo Rocco, an important bank executive at the Paris branch of Banca Commerciale Italiana, decided to dedicate himself to what was then a new profession, that of “dottore commercialista,” or chartered accountant and business consultant.
Studio Rocco quickly became one of the leading corporate consulting firms in Milan. Drawing on its founder’s international experience, it also became one of the principal advisors to foreign firms operating or wishing to operate in Italy.
When the founder’s son, Giorgio Rocco, joined the firm, it took another leap forward thanks to his professional expertise and personal contacts. Giorgio Rocco soared to the top of the profession as one of the principal Italian advisors involved in the big mergers and acquisitions that reshaped the landscape of small and medium sized businesses in northern Italy during the 1970’s and 1980’s.
The firm has steadily honed its skills and experience since the 1990’s, becoming a sort of professional boutique capable of providing custom-made solutions to both big and medium and small businesses.
Thanks in part to the major governmental positions held by Senior Partner Giorgio Rocco over the last decade, the firm’s staff of professionals have developed an outstanding level of professional expertise that it offers to a select array of clients.
Studio Rocco also boasts extensive experience in assisting Italian firms with their foreign activities and operations. This has led it to establish long-standing relationships with top professional firms in major cities around the world. These relationships enable the firm’s own team of professionals to handle our clients’ problems.
